Email changes & testing issues
EMAIL CHANGES:
VEPO is no longer able to have the return email look as if it is coming from the City of Bothell. Now outgoing email to customers or testers will have the return of Info@vepocrossconnex.com We have two options: 1. Our Microsoft agreement includes Graph which is an email program we can use and give the API (Application Programming Interface) to VEPO. However VEPO has not and does not use that. The rep from VEPO stated that they do not use it and it would cost developer time = $7,500.00 of which they would split the cost.
This is going to be of benefit to them. We pay for the development, and they will pass it on to the next customer or charge more for it. Not a good option.
Another option that VEPO first suggested is SendGrid. The minimal service will cost $20.00 a month = 120.00 a year. Looking more into this option.
TESTING ISSUE:
Scenario: A test is performed on a device/assembly and the test fails. The tester does the repair and then tests again. It passes but the system takes it as a fail. This is due to the fact that the failed test, the repair and the second test are all performed on the same day and in the same testing form. It appears the first test is overriding the second test. VEPO development is working on the issue.
